The Glam U Leadership Society is a leadership and personal development experience created for high school juniors who are ready to discover who they are, strengthen how they show up in the world, and develop the skills to lead with purpose.
Through Glam U's unique approach to leadership development, members participate in experiences that combine leadership, mentorship, service, sisterhood, college and career preparation, modern etiquette, personal presence, fashion, beauty, and modeling techniques to build confident young women prepared for their next chapter.

At Glam U, we believe leadership begins long before a young woman receives a title.
It begins with knowing who she is. Having the confidence to walk into unfamiliar spaces and know that she belongs. Understanding how to communicate, present herself, build relationships, serve others, and use her voice. And ultimately, having the courage to use who she is to make a difference.

Members don't simply learn about leadership—they practice it through real-world experiences designed to prepare them for college, careers, community leadership, and life.

The GULS experience develops young women across three interconnected areas:
WHO SHE IS
Members explore their identity, strengths, values, confidence, authenticity, personal growth, and developing sense of purpose.
She learns to say:
I know who I am, what I value, what I bring to the table, and who I am becoming.
HOW SHE SHOWS UP
Members develop personal presence, poise, communication, modern etiquette, personal style, professional image, digital presence, and the confidence to navigate unfamiliar environments.
Through Glam U's unique use of fashion, beauty, modeling techniques, and experiential learning, members learn that presenting themselves intentionally doesn't mean changing who they are—it means having the confidence and awareness to navigate different spaces while remaining authentically themselves.
She learns to say:
I can walk into unfamiliar spaces with confidence, communicate effectively, present myself intentionally, and remain authentically me.
HOW SHE LEADS

More Than Traditional Etiquette
GULS reimagines etiquette for today's young woman.
We're not interested in simply teaching girls a list of rules about how a "proper young lady" should behave.
We prepare young women to confidently and appropriately navigate the spaces they enter while remaining authentically themselves.
Members may learn how to navigate a formal dinner, make a professional introduction, enter a room where they don't know anyone, select attire for different occasions, communicate with professionals, develop their personal brand, practice digital etiquette, and carry themselves with confidence and poise.
Knowing which fork to use can be helpful but, knowing you belong at the table is even more important.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who is eligible to apply?
Glam U Leadership Society is designed for high school juniors who demonstrate leadership potential, a commitment to personal growth, and a desire to serve others.
Applicants do not need to currently hold a formal leadership position. We believe leadership potential can show up in many different ways.
How often does the Society meet?
Members participate in two leadership experiences each month throughout the program year (October - May), along with several signature events, service opportunities, and other special experiences.
October 2026 - December 2026 Schedule:

December 2, 9, 12
January 2027 - May 2027 schedule will be shared with members.
Where will meetings be held?
Glam U Leadership Society meetings will be held on Wednesdays 5:30pm-7:30pm on a local university campus, providing members with an immersive collegiate environment as they prepare for life beyond high school. Specific location details will be shared with members and parents.
What happens after junior year?
Although the structured GULS program takes place during junior year, our relationship with members doesn't end at graduation. During senior year, members transition into the GULS alumni community and continue receiving resources and support as they navigate college applications, scholarships, career preparation, graduation, and the transition to their next chapter.
Is there a cost to participate?
Yes. Thanks to the generous donations we've received, we are able to offer this program to all families at an affordable rate! The program investment for the 2026-2027 Founding Cohort is as follows:
